Action Themes Volume Four

What better to encapsulate the energy of this pack than putting my Dad’s prison photo as the cover? Action Themes Volume 4 is the latest installment in my series of work dedicated to more dramatic soundscapes. Big arrangements. Cinematic, ambitious compositions.

This royalty-free sample pack was arranged by Matthew “MTK” Crabtree, a multi-platinum, multi-Grammy award nominees with a diverse history of producer collaborations, ranging from Timbaland, Eminem, Madlib, Ye, 808 Mafia, and Tay Keith. Everything was arranged to work well when looped, chopped, or layered with modern production.

This one splits it’s focus into two categories: 80s crime and 80s fantasy movies. Equal parts orchestral and analog synth driven. Textures were captured with my Revox A77, Tascam 424 MKII, my Juno 106, and the Crabtree Unlimited Orchestra who helped bring my orchestral compositions to life.
